William Furber, Esq.
William Furber was born and raised outside of Philadelphia, PA. He attended Duke University, graduating in 1997. Thereafter, he worked as an equity trader for a Wall Street Firm for eleven years. Mr. Furber attended Fordham Law School, receiving his Juris Doctorate in 2011. At Fordham, Mr. Furber served as the Editor in Chief of the Brendan Moore Trial Advocacy Program and was on the Dean’s List.
Mr. Furber was employed as an Assistant District Attorney in the New York County District Attorney’s Office for nearly nine years. During most of his tenure, Mr. Furber worked in the Trial Division handling serious violent felonies. Mr. Furber also worked in the Financial Frauds Bureau, where he investigated and prosecuted complex white-collar financial crimes. In his capacity as an Assistant District Attorney, Mr. Furber tried several cases to successful verdict in both bench and jury trials.
Mr. Furber’s training and experience in and out of the courtroom has prepared him to handle and try cases in the area of premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, and medical malpractice.
Mr. Furber is admitted to practice law in the State of New York.
